"Rabbit a la Berlin" nominated for Oscar!

"Rabbit a la Berlin", the winner of Golden Hobby-Horse of 49th KFF is nominated for Oscar!

American Film Academy has announced nomination for Oscars today. "Rabbit a la Berlin" directed by Bartek Konopka has received the nomination in Best Documentary, Short Subject category. This charming and wise documentary, based mostly of the archive footage, tells the story about rising and fall of Berlin Wall from the perspective of  the furry rodents living in the green belt between Eastern and Western walls.

The documentary produced by MS Films Ltd., everywhere on the route evokes enthusiasm and gathers positive reviews. The film has already won many awards at numerous festivals, including triumphed on the latest edition of our event, when it easily won national competition.

Authors of the "Rabbit" left Krakow not only with the Golden Hobby-Horse, but also with the prize for the Best Short Film and Documentary Producer, as the the winner was Anna Wydra, producer of the documentary appreciated by the Academy.

Congratulations for the authors and we keep our fingers crossed for the final success of the "Rabbit". Academy Awards ceremony will be held on 7th March. We are going to watch for sure, and you? ;)
