Every year, during the festival, awards in four competitions of equal rank are given, and the award-winners receive characteristic statuettes connected with Krakow, namely:

 

In the documentary film competition:

the Golden Horn for the director of the best film (30 000 PLN)

2 Silver Horns for the director of the best medium-length documentary film (15 000 PLN) and for the director of the best feature-length documentary film (15 000 PLN);

the Golden Dragon for the director of the best film (30 000 PLN),

3 Silver Dragons for the director of the best documentary film (15 000 PLN), for the director of the best animated film (15 000 PLN), and for the director of the best feature film (15 000 PLN);

In the music documentary film competition DocFilmMusic:

the Golden Heynal for the director of the best film (20 000 PLN);

the Golden Hobby-Horse for the director of the best film (20 000 PLN),

3 Silver Hobby-Horses for the director of the best documentary film (10 000 PLN), for the director of the best animated film (10 000 PLN), and for the director of the best short feature film (10 000 PLN);

The author of the characteristic statuettes was from the beginnings of the festival Bronisław Chromy. Since 2015, all awards are made by Maciej Jurkowski, with the exception of the Dragon of Dragons statuette, which is still created by Professor Chromy.
