Drill Baby Drill

Inhabitants of a small village in Eastern Poland find out that one of the biggest international energy corporations is considering a project to drill for shale gas on their land. They are at first unaware of potential consequences of the venture, but soon join up forces to call on politicians and governmental institutions to stop the construction. Juxtaposed with the effects of shale gas exploration in Pennsylvania, the story is a reflection on the influence corporations have over the democratic process as well as the choice to be made between demand for energy and environment protection.
