Ruthless

Ireland2021fiction13'Międzynarodowy konkurs filmów krótkometrażowych (2022)

Northern Ireland in the 1970s. The latest album of the band T. Rex is about to be released and the queues will be long, including the teenage protagonist. To look like his idol, he decorates his cheeks with glitter scraped from a Christmas card his mum gave him. Unfortunately, she is no longer alive. She certainly would not mind his passion for music, which his father does not share on a daily basis. So how to raise £2 for the long-awaited vinyl record? What part will a prosthetic leg play in all this? Surprising and emotional – that’s for sure.
