Set in a forest, the film is performative, self-therapeutic and soothing, but above all it gives voice to the protagonist. It a portrayal of eponymous Anna. As a child, she experienced violence and resentment from her peers and her own father because she was overweight. After years of fighting for herself, she has the courage to talk about her experiences without fear. Today, when she has become a self-aware woman and mother who accepts her body, she is not afraid of nudity, in fact she proudly exposes it. The only fear she has is for her daughter, who also has to grow up in a fatphobic society.
