Grey streets, poor district and a pair of colourful birds in the midst. Strong-minded Jola and resourceful Wiesiek have been running one of the biggest pawnshops in Europe for years. The business, so prosperous in the past, is now in decline. Bytom's suburbs, where the warehouse was moved, make it less accessible for customers and the company becomes unprofitable very fast. Tensions within the family do not make the situation any easier, the couple is on a verge of a breakup. A clearance sale does not help, yet Jola is not ready to give up and comes up with an idea.
