This special screening of\u00a0archival films from the 1920s to\u00a0celebrate the 100th anniversary of\u00a0Poland’s independence will feature \u201cSculptor with the Camera\u201d by\u00a0Marcin Gi\u017cycki, edited from the footage by\u00a0count August Zamoyski as\u00a0well as\u00a0\u201cPolonia Restituta\u201d and \u201cThe Standard of\u00a0Freedom\u201d by\u00a0Ryszard Ordy\u0144ski \u2013 fragments of\u00a0films about the fight for independence during World War I\u00a0and the Battle of\u00a0Warsaw using original battle footage from 1914-1920 and showing war destruction and important military events.<\/p>\n

\n Two bands, the Beat Freaks and SALK, will perform during the screening. After the screening, we\u00a0will raise our glasses to\u00a0Poland. (tickets, accreditations)<\/p>\n
