The awards for the best presentations were announced at the Industry Awards Gala.<\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">ANIMATED IN POLAND AWARDS<\/span><\/h5>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In Animated in Poland Pitching three awards funded by our partners &#8211; Studio Sound Mind, Fixafilm i Crew United were<\/span>\u00a0 <span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211; went to new winners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The first award was funded KFF Industry partner &#8211; Sound Mind, a sound post-production studio founded by Micha<\/span>\u0142 <span lang=\"en-US\">Fojcik &#8211; a recognized sound director, member of the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) association, responsible for the sound of such films as: <\/span>\u201cGods\u201d, \u201c<span lang=\"en-US\">The Red Spider<\/span>\u201d, \u201c<span lang=\"en-US\">The Art of Loving<\/span>\u201d <span lang=\"en-US\">and <\/span>\u201c<span lang=\"en-US\">The Coldest Game<\/span>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">SOUND MIND STUDIO ANIMATED IN POLAND BEST PITCH AWARD<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"> &#8211; Studio Sound Mind voucher for 10 days of sound post-production went to the project <\/span><strong> \u201eAll My Effing Superheros\u201d<\/strong>, dir. Piotr Kabat, prod. Letko.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">For the first time Award for the Best Pitch was funded by<\/span><span lang=\"it-IT\"><strong> Fixafilm<\/strong>,<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> a Dolby Vision certified postproduction facility based in Warsaw (Poland) with branches in Los Angeles (USA) and Canberra (Australia). Fixafilm offers a full range of post production service e andhas post-produced <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Prisoners of the<\/span>\u00a0 Ghostland (2021),\u00a0 <span lang=\"en-US\">Hopper\/Welles<\/span> (2020), <span lang=\"en-US\">My Heart Can<\/span>\u2019<span lang=\"en-US\">t Beat Unless You Tell It To<\/span> (2020), <span lang=\"sv-SE\">Systrar 1968 <\/span>(2018), <span lang=\"en-US\">Menashe<\/span> (2017), <span lang=\"en-US\">The Persian Connection<\/span> (2016) Yarden<span lang=\"en-US\"> (2016) and restored over 220 productions, including classic films of masters like Peter Weir, Sergei Parajanov, Andrzej Wajda, Andrzej Zulawski, and Dario Argento.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><strong>FIXAFILM ANIMATED IN POLAND\u00a0 <span lang=\"en-US\">BEST PITCH AWARD<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">a coupon for image post-production services worth PLN 10 000 founded by Fixafilm went to the project<\/span> \u201eOnce there was a sea\u2026\u201d, dir.. Joanna Ko\u017c<span lang=\"de-DE\">uch<\/span>, <span lang=\"da-DK\">prod. B-Film, Animapol<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">The third founder was <\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong>Crew United<\/strong>, <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">an international networking platform for filmmakers. Crew United is not only a European platform with over 40 thousand active users and a database with information on almost 250 thousand European filmmakers, 115 thousand actors and actresses, 60 thousand AV companies, but also an attentive and active partner of professional organizations in many European countries.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">CREW UNITED SPECIAL MENTION<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">a 5-years<\/span>\u2019 <span lang=\"en-US\">Premium membership to Crew United platform for the director and producer of the awarded project went to <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong>\u201eEyeshroom\u201d<\/strong>,<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> dir. <\/span>Ma\u0142gorzata Wowczak, prod. Animated Film Studio &#8211; Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">It was the ninth edition of Animated in Poland Pitching, the first took place in May 2013 during the 53rd edition of the Krakow Film Festival in cooperation with the &#8220;Shortcut&#8221; magazine. It was preceded by the pitch training that was combined with short project consultations held by Wim Vanacker <\/span>\u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">a member of the Selection Committee for the Official Short Film Competition of the Cannes Film Festival. <\/span><br \/><span lang=\"en-US\">This year, 7 projects were presented. More about <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.krakowfilmfestival.pl\/industry\/kff-industry\/pitchingi-prezentacje\/animated-in-poland-2\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Animated in Poland. projects<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">DOC LAB POLAND AWARDS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Four <\/span>Doc Lab Poland<span lang=\"en-US\"> awards and three special mentions were given to the best <strong>Docs to Start and Docs to Go! presentations.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In the <strong>Docs To Go!<\/strong> session<\/span> Lunapark Award \u2013\u00a0 <span lang=\"en-US\">image postproduction services worth of 15 000 pln went to <\/span> <strong>\u201eOld Hippies Die Young\u201d<\/strong>, dir. and prod. <span lang=\"pt-PT\">Zofia Pr<\/span>\u0119gowska (Prego Media) <span lang=\"en-US\">and <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Institute of Documentary Film Special Mention<\/span> \u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">invitation to East Doc Platform was given to <\/span><strong>\u201eLeon\u201d<\/strong>, dir. Wojciech Gostomczyk, Anna Styli\u0144<span lang=\"sv-SE\">ska <\/span>\u2013 <span lang=\"de-DE\">Metrage Studio<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">In the <strong>Docs To Start<\/strong> session <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">HBO Award <\/span><\/strong>\u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">10 000 PLN in for the film production went to the project <\/span>\u201ePapa Was King Of Kongo\u201d, dir. Joanna Ratajczak, prod. Maciej Kubicki, Joanna Ratajczak (Telemark).<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">SMAKJAM Award <\/span><\/strong>\u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">image postproduction services worth of 25 000 PLN was given to the project <\/span> <span lang=\"en-US\"><strong>\u201eStep by Step\u201d<\/strong>,<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> dir. <\/span>Eliza Kubarska, Micha\u0142 Woroch, prod. Monika Braid (Braidmade Films).<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Another Award <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">&#8211;<strong> MX35 Award<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">film equipment rental services worth of 10 000 PLN went to the project <\/span><strong>\u201eChild of Dust\u201d<\/strong>, dir. and prod. Weronika Mliczewska (Ya-Man Studio).<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">And <\/span><strong><span lang=\"de-DE\">DOK Leipzig Special Mention<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">invitation to DOK Co<\/span>\u2010<span lang=\"en-US\">pro Meetings in Leipzig went to the project <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">\u201eGirl\u2019s Stories\u201d<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong>,<\/strong> dir. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Aga Borzym, prod.Marta Du\u017cbabel, Agnieszka Rostropowicz- Rutkowska (Pinot Films).<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">There was also <\/span>o<span lang=\"en-US\">ne<strong> Special Mention<\/strong> given in both sessions <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">Polish Docs Pro Special Mention<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <span lang=\"en-US\">support of international promotion and invitation to one of the key world documentary industry event and it went to the project <\/span> <strong>\u201eBase 13\u201d<\/strong> dir. Pawe\u0142 Hejbudzki, prod. Wojciech Karubin (Movie Mates).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.krakowfilmfestival.pl\/industry\/kff-industry\/pitchingi-prezentacje\/docs-to-start-2\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Docs to Start<\/span><\/a><\/span> -&gt;<span lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.krakowfilmfestival.pl\/industry\/kff-industry\/pitchingi-prezentacje\/docs-to-go-2\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Docs to Go!<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">This year <\/span>19<span lang=\"en-US\"> projects took part in the third session of the DOC LAB POLAND workshops that ended with online pitching sessions under the auspices of KFF Industry during the 60th Krakow Film Festival. International tutors who prepared the participants to the public presentation of their projects were: <\/span>\u00a0<strong><span lang=\"nl-NL\">Adriek Van Nieuwenhuijzen (IDFA Forum) Hanka Kastelicova and Agnieszka Niburska (HBO Europe), Rada Sesic (Sarajevo FF), Leena Pasanen (Biografilm Festival), <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">producers &#8211;<\/span> And\u017a<span lang=\"nl-NL\">ka Wydra, Christian Popp and Paul Pauwels <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">and directors <\/span>&#8211; Jacek B\u0142<span lang=\"en-US\">awut, Lidia Duda and Ma<\/span>\u0142gorzata \u015awiderska.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The participants of 3 pitching had a chance to meet with experienced international experts: producers from Germany, Denmark, Finland, Ukraine, Japan, USA, representatives of the international documentary industry events like Baltic Sea Forum, Emerging Producers, East Doc Platform, Documentary Campus, Dok Incubator, Agora Doc Market, Hot Docs Forum, IDFA Forum, CPH: Forum, Australian International Documentary Conference, DOK Industry, Docs Barcelona Industry, commissioning editors and broadcasters, film funds, sales (i.a.
