The season <span>kicks off on October 14<sup>th<\/sup> at the Ritzy Cinema with Malgorzata Szumowska&rsquo;s <b>33 Scenes From Life, <\/b>winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno Film Festival, with the filmmakers in attendance.&nbsp;<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\nThe season will screen at Picturehouse Cinemas throughout the capital, namely in Brixton, Clapham, Greenwich, Hackney, Nottinghill Gate and Stratford East and ends on December 1<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Legendary films will be screened, such as Ryszard Bugajski&#8217;s <b><i>Interrogation<\/i><\/b>, awarded years after its release at Cannes in recognition of Krystyna Janda&rsquo;s outstanding performance, <b>Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski&#8217;s <i>Blind Chance<\/i><\/b> with the equally fascinating acting by Bogus\u0142aw Linda who was for years an icon of films sentenced to oblivion in communist Poland, <b><i>Korczak<\/i> by Andrzej Wajda<\/b>, which caused turmoil in French Jewish communities or the Oscar-winning <b><i>The Pianist<\/i> by Roman Pola\u0144ski.&nbsp;<br \/>\n<\/b><i><br \/>\n&ldquo;I wanted to share my fascination with Polish cinema with a London audience.
