{"id":4937,"date":"2016-10-01T10:11:32","date_gmt":"2016-10-01T08:11:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.krakowfilmfestival.pl\/en\/?p=4937"},"modified":"2017-02-02T14:19:54","modified_gmt":"2017-02-02T13:19:54","slug":"call-for-entries-for-57th-kff-is-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.krakowfilmfestival.pl\/en\/call-for-entries-for-57th-kff-is-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Film submission for 57th KFF is now finished"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><b>We no longer accept film submissions for international competitions of 57th Krakow Film Festival.\u00a0Thank you for all your submissions!\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As far as\u00a0the<b> National Competition <\/b>is concerned, in\u00a0which the main award is\u00a0the<b> Golden Hobby Horse<\/b>, only Polish feature and animated films with a\u00a0running time not exceeding 30\u00a0minutes and documentary films of\u00a0unlimited length can be\u00a0submitted until 15 February 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are waiting for documentary, animated and short film submissions to four competitions of equal rank \u2013 national and three international ones: Short Film Competition, Documentary Competition and DocFilmMusic Competition for music documentary films.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Krakow Film Festival is an Oscar\u00ae qualifying festival, nominates and recommends films for the European Film Award in short and documentary category. It has received also FIAPF accreditation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>The deadlines for submitting films to the selection in the short, documentary and DocFilmMusic competitions:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for films made prior to 31 October 2016: <\/span><b>30 November 2016<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for films made after 31 October 2016: <\/span><b>31 January 2017<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the<\/span><b> Short Film Competition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, feature, animated and documentary films with a running time of no more than 30 minutes compete for the <\/span><b>Golden Dragon<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the<\/span><b> Documentary Competition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, participate documentary films with a running time longer than 30 minutes, and the best of them gets the <\/span><b>Golden Horn<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the<\/span><b> DocFilmMusic Competition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the <\/span><b>Golden Heynal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> award goes to one of documentary music films with a running time of more than 50 minutes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As far as the<\/span><b> National Competition <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is concerned, in which the main award is the<\/span><b> Golden Hobby Horse<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, only Polish feature and animated films with a running time not exceeding 30 minutes and documentary films of unlimited length can be submitted.
