We watch their films, admire superb roles, and engage in the personal stories told through documentary films. During the Krakow Film Festival, there&#8217;s a good chance you&#8217;ll be able to talk to them, share your impressions from the screenings, or inquire about behind-the-scenes details. Q&amp;A sessions with creators are held after several, sometimes dozens of screenings each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s All About Them<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrzej Seweryn opened the 64<sup>th<\/sup> Krakow Film Festival in a rather unusual role \u2013 not as a character but as the protagonist of a documentary. The distinguished actor accompanied director Arkadiusz Bartosik and producer Katarzyna Kubacka-Seweryn during the world premiere of <strong><em>I Am the Creation of Fiction<\/em><\/strong>. A Q&amp;A session was held with the entire trio after the screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The love-struck couple, Magdalena \u015awi\u0105tkowska and Micha\u0142 P\u0119szy\u0144ski, couldn&#8217;t miss the Krakow screening of <strong><em>Crazy Love<\/em> <\/strong>by<strong> Martyna Peszko<\/strong>. The family of <strong><em>Lili<\/em><\/strong> from Sylwia Rosak&#8217;s documentary will also make an appearance in the capital of Ma\u0142opolska. Lilianna Biskup, Justyna Jarz\u0119bek, Tomasz Biskup, Elle F\u00f8rde Vik, and Oda F\u00f8rde Vik will also attend the premiere. We couldn&#8217;t imagine the premiere of <strong><em>Silent Trees<\/em> (dir. Agnieszka Zwiefka)<\/strong> without teenage Runa and her family. The director of the documentary <strong><em>Debtors<\/em><\/strong>, <strong>Andrzej Danis, inv<\/strong>ited his mother Ewa \u2013 also the protagonist of the film \u2013 to the screening. <strong>Xawery Deskur <\/strong>talked about his uncle. The Krak\u00f3w-based DJ Edward Gil Deskur is the main character of <strong><em>Are You There?<\/em><\/strong>. Sebastian and Marcel Lipi\u0144ski will be present at the premiere of the short documentary <strong><em>In My Hands<\/em><\/strong> <strong>(dir. Igor Kuna)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The documentary <strong><em>Everything Needs to Live<\/em><\/strong> <strong>(dir. <\/strong><strong>Tetiana Dorodnitsyna, Andrii Lytvynenko) <\/strong>tells the story of Anna Kurkurin. The celebrated weightlifting champion and an incredibly empathetic person, actively involved in helping animals, will visit Krakow on the 30th of May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These two heroes are no longer with us, but Julia Lewis, widow of Don Lewis (<strong><em>Don Lewis and the Live Electronic Orchestra<\/em>, dir. <\/strong><strong>Ned Augustenborg),<\/strong> and Krystyna Cierniak-Morgenstern, wife of Janusz Morgenstern (<strong><em>Kuba<\/em>, dir. Marcin Strauchold)<\/strong>, have come to Krakow in their honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s Them Who Take The Stage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several Polish actors will visit Krak\u00f3w&#8217;s studio cinemas. Grzegorz Dami\u0119cki and Jakub Pruski starred together in <strong><em>From You<\/em> (dir. J\u0119drzej Gorski)<\/strong>, Alina Chechelska in <strong><em>Honey Bunny<\/em> (dir. Gracjan Piechula)<\/strong>, Anita Soko\u0142owska, Gracjan Kosyl, and Micha\u0142 Morawski will accompany director <strong>Mateusz Pacewicz<\/strong> and the producers of the film <strong><em>Stimulants &amp; Empathogens<\/em><\/strong>, while the well-known figure to the festival audience, Katarzyna Figura, will appear at the screening of <strong><em>Here For You<\/em> (dir. Cezary Or\u0142owski)<\/strong>, joined by Paula Rakowska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will also host two actors from abroad. Qiao Nie is an actress appearing in the Chinese fiction film <strong><em>Open Eyes<\/em> (dir. Qi Zhang)<\/strong>, and Dragos Olaru from the Romanian film <strong><em>Better This Way<\/em> (dir. <\/strong><strong>Emanuel P\u00e2rvu).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s Theirs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s impossible to list all the guests responsible for the films presented at the 64th Krakow Film Festival.
