During the upcoming edition of the Krakow Film Festival, the KFF Industry will hold for the third time co-production meetings for film professionals from the Visegrad Group countries – V4 Co-Pro Meetings.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their premise is to initiate contacts between film producers and filmmakers from the region in order to establish cooperation in film production. Participants of the V4 Co-Pro Meetings<\/strong><\/a> – ten selected producers from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia – will meet with Ukrainian producers to discuss co-production opportunities, as well as hold consultation sessions with experts – representatives of TV stations, film funds and festivals, , production companies or sales agencies from Western Europe, the USA, Australia and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important highlight of this year’s event will be a discussion of cooperation opportunities in the region . The panel will bring together experienced producers from Slovakia, Poland and Hungary to discuss how the conditions for documentary filmmaking are changing, what opportunities filmmakers have and where the biggest obstacles lie. From financing and partnerships to navigating political realities and finding the right stories to tell together.  Participants will include Ondrej Starinski <\/strong>\/ RTVS (Slovakia), Maria Krauss <\/strong>\/ Plesnar & Krauss FILMS \/ KIPA (Poland) and Julianna Ugrin<\/strong> \/ Eclipse Films \/ MADOKE (Hungary), as well as Zden\u011bk Blaha<\/strong>, former program director of the Documentary Film Institute (Czech Republic).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
