Dragon Forum 2010 – summary

The last part of this year’s edition – the pitching, took place between 1st – 4th of June during the 50th KFF in the Manggha Centre of Japanese Art and Technology.

During the two-day pitching preparatory workshop, participants worked on the final versions of the trailers and practiced speaking in public under the watchful eyes of tutors:
·         Marc Lorber
·         Dorota Roszkowska
·         Steven Seidenberg,
·         Peter Wintonick
·         Vita Żelakeviciute
·         Andrzej Fidyk

It was the last moment, when participants could take under consideration their valuable comments on the presentation and the trailer. Participants could use a specially prepared editing suite. There was also an open lecture held by Peter Wintonick: „The Necessary Illusions”.

Days were filled with hard work on the projects, and evenings and nights were spent at festival screenings and dinners in lovely Krakow restaurants. The energy, however, had to be saved for the final pitching – a meeting with the commissioning editors.
