The Old Cowboy

Poland1973animated9'Retrospektywa Witolda Giersza (2017)

Maintained in the formula of motion painting, the film is yet another “little western” among Witold Giersz’s films . This time an old cowboy, travelling across boundless prairies, reminisces about the most important moments of his life, full of dangerous, almost improbable, adventures. Once, he was a boss and today he is left only with a star, a symbol of his past greatness, a faithful horse and loneliness. Festival awards in Cork and Poznan.
