The film focuses on the freedom of art taking the performance of “Neomonachomachia” made by KTO, an independent theatre from Kraków, as an example. The updated version of Ignacy Krasicki’s poem gained many enemies who saw the performance as a provocation and attack on Christian values. Its creators, who are accused of offending national and religious feelings, reflect upon the place of satire in the political life and the status of artists in relation to power.
