Dev Patel, an actor known for "Slumdog Millionaire", "Lion" or "Chappie", makes his debut as a director. Leigh Whannell, who played in "Saw" and "Insidious", is a co-author of the script. Arnie Hammer ("The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", "Call Me by Your Name") appears in an unexpected role. The husband is played by Thomas Sadoski, who featured in "Newsroom" and "John Wick 2''.
