My Home Video

Andreas and Vanessa are orphans raised by their grandparents. Their mother died of leukaemia and their father passed away a few years later, probably because of a heart condition caused by longing. The only keepsake they have after the deceased is a video tape from almost 20 years ago. It serves as an excuse to look into the past to find the memories buried there. For over two decades, the siblings have not talked about their loss, disregarding the issue. It turns out they have both missed anecdotes from their childhood, stories of grandparents and the opportunity to confide their longing for the dead parents to each other.
