A big polar bear feels a little lonely – no animal in the North Pole wants to make friends with it. Seals, fish or reindeer run away in panic at the mere sight of it. It is a charming animation about loneliness, giving in to stereotypes, judging others by appearances as well as the impossibility of stifling your true nature. Will Bernard be able to convince other animals that there is nothing to be afraid of? Is it true that the bear poses no risk?
