In Poland, only two out of ten debtors obliged to pay child support actually pay it in full. While preparing to stage a court scene with his mother, the director meets people like himself, who have never received any child support awarded by court verdicts. This situation is used to tell their stories in the documentary. ‘You are not my child’, ‘you were never nice to me’ or ‘I don’t have money’ were among the excuses used by fathers to wriggle out of paying child support. Can anything be done to change this situation in Poland?

Born in 1993 in Warsaw. Graduate of cultural anthropology at the University of Warsaw and of directing at the Film School in Łódź. In cinema, he is interested in combining genres, special effects and psychoanalysis. In love with the works of Leos Carax.
