China | 2019 | animated | 9 min. Short film competition

Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out. Each immersion in water evokes fragments of memories. Chaotically combined shots show two intertwining stories. What an explosive has to do with a nurse, jump into a swimming pool and the two protagonists? Did anything happen in the past? What was happening in the swimming pool? Only the camera knows it and it is lying smashed on the bottom of the pool. An intriguing animation with long, leisurely shots in which the tension is built by a sound resembling a ticking bomb, growing louder and louder.
