Alba's Memories

Italy, Germany | 2019 | animated | 6 min. Short film competition

A cup of coffee may be a start of a new day or… love for life. Many cups of coffee had to be drunk before Alba and Pierino realised that they had feelings for each other. A charming story about long beginnings of a relationship and a youthful infatuation from the perspective of an elderly woman. The first-person, intimate narrative as well as old films and photos used in the animation accentuate the authenticity of the story and the sincerity of feelings.
