Sister

China | 2018 | animated | 8 min. Film festivals award winners

The protagonist’s younger sister was irritating, especially when she cried all day, destroyed toys and wanted to watch silly cartoons on TV. But when she grew up a little, she turned into an excellent companion to play with and realise the most absurd ideas. What would happen if she had never been born? The film is a sad and poignant story about the Chinese policy of one child presented by charming characters made of felt. Jury Award for the Best Animation at Aspen Shortsfest (USA).
