The selection of projects from all over the world for CEDOC Market and Ukrainian projects that will join DOC LAB POLAND, run by the Władysław Ślesicki Film Foundation, has been completed. This year’s eleventh edition of both events, organized in cooperation with KFF Industry during the Krakow Film Festival, is once again held under the slogan DOC LAB POLAND & UKRAINE.
This year’s CEDOC – Central European Documentary Co-Production Market, the only documentary co-production market in Poland for producers looking for partners from Europe and the world, will host 32 documentary projects. The documentaries submitted from Poland, among others, were joined by projects from Germany, Israel, Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Iran, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Sweden and the USA. The market experts will include both experienced producers and sales agents, representatives of festivals, film funds and broadcasters. We will present the full list of dozens of experts soon.
This year, the largest documentary film programme in Poland is once again being held under the slogan DOC LAB POLAND & UKRAINE. Thanks to funding from the Polish Film Institute, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Mieroszewski Institute, we are able to support and ensure the participation of eight projects from Ukraine. Three of them will appear at CEDOC Market, two at Doc Lab Start and three at Doc Lab Go – which will take place on 26-30 May in Krakow.
Among the projects selected for CEDOC Market are film proposals created all over the world. Their creators follow the trail of historical events, face current problems or individual stories of ordinary – extraordinary people. As we know, life writes the best scripts, and documentary filmmakers are excellent chroniclers of everyday life.
CEDOC MARKET (Central European Documentary Co-Production Market) aims to enable documentary producers to establish contacts with partners in other countries, thanks to whom they will be able to make their films. This year, the event will be held for the eleventh time.
