Plantarium
Poland, Hungary2020animated7'
A secret garden hidden under the ground is managed by a lonely gardener. The place is bleak, suffocating and disturbing, yet magical. One day, a little boy with dangerous nails grows out of a pot instead of a plant... A game begins between the gardener and the boy. Sometimes, it seems an innocent play, at other times it is a brutal fight for life and death. Fluorescent colours light the dark cave, rough surfaces of materials and a skilful play with the light create a visually extraordinary story, while the unexplained relationship between the protagonists ensures the viewers’ emotional engagement.
