The story of a bison separated from its herd by the wall on the Polish-Belarusian border. The lost animal becomes a witness to the dramatic events taking place on both sides. The film is a surprising account of the situation on the border, in which the drama of the animal symbolically resonates with the drama of the people separated from their loved ones. What initially occurs in the background changes over time to become as important as the story in the foreground. A story about nature and its harmony turns into an account of unexpected divisions – not only physical but also emotional ones.
