Citizen-Inmate
Iran2025documentary15'Short Film Competition
In Tehran, where citizens live under the constant surveillance of cameras, an unexpected plot twist comes – those who have been watched so far take over the gaze. This sudden imbalance brings chaos to the carefully constructed system of power. The camera becomes an instrument of rebellion. A gripping documentary that, like a thriller, unveils the mechanisms of digital surveillance and poses a universal question: is it possible to regain power over one’s own life in the world full of cameras and constant surveillance?
