Still Moving
Canada2025animated10'Short Film Competition
A moving animation about a mother and daughter who travel in a removal van and try to make a fresh start after the divorce. The mother tries to convince her daughter that they will quickly feel at home in the new place. However, the journey becomes more and more difficult: the rain becomes more intense, the windscreen wipers stop working, the windows steam up and the tension rises, not just on the road but also between the heroines. Only the navigation system stubbornly tells them to drive on. Will the heroines manage to leave the past behind? ‘Still Moving’ is an animation about difficult choices, forgiveness and mutual understanding when it is not easy for anyone.
