A man tries to report his wife, Big Orange, missing by phone. Unfortunately, no one can or even tries to help him – he is constantly referred to someone else. Finally, the protagonist goes to the headquarters in person. There, he is greeted by angry people waiting in line, forms to fill in and unfriendly staff. Set in the Kafkaesque atmosphere of absurdity, the story becomes a universal metaphor for powerlessness in the face of bureaucracy and the struggle against a heartless system.
