Nothing Else
Poland2025fiction29'National Competition
‘Paintings, galleries, exhibitions; all this is still to come,’ – Antek seems to be convincing himself rather than his wife, who grimly stares at the piece of paper containing her test results. Wera is a young painter with a beautiful house immersed in greenery, overlooking the lake, a handsome husband who earns an excellent salary, a cuddly dog called Chagall and a brutal and incurable diagnosis. The couple must face the inevitability of her illness, but their reactions are extremely different.
