Reenactment
Poland2025fiction26'National Competition
Anka ends up at a historical re-enactment camp because of her boyfriend, fascinated by war heroes. Trying to find her own place in the community, she discovers that historical prejudice against women is surprisingly valid. The young participants with dedication perform the roles of soldiers on the offensive, insurgents in sewers, knights fighting in the forest or villagers in the mill, but at the same time there is a contemporary social game going on between them.
