Aria di Bravura
Polanddocumentary82'Polish Documentary Panorama
A candid and personal story about the world of people who stutter. Although the problem affects as much as 2% of the world’s population, it rarely features in films, even documentaries. Shot in Krakow over several years, the film follows the story of an extraordinary therapist, Grażyna Malczyk, who believes she has discovered a new method of helping people to overcome stuttering. At the same time, we observe the lives of two of her patients – their daily struggles with communication and their victories in pursuing self-fulfillment despite the challenges they constantly face.
