A man enters an office full of piles of paper and folders, squeaks of a disobedient printer and many bored but polite clerks. Unfortunately, he may need to have to stay there longer, because his documents lack an identification number, which is necessary for the cogs of the bureaucratic machine to turn. It seems that the petitioner will have to strain his memory and reconstruct his past. A short film that could have been made by Wes Anderson based on a screenplay by Franz Kafka.
