Thanks to archival footage, unknown so far and miraculously discovered, the year 1968 in Czechoslovakia has become more than just a page in a historical calendar. Many years later, ghostlike images and lip-read words gain new power, especially when confronted with protagonists of the past events, met today. The tragedy of the Warsaw Pact invasion is shown from the perspective of ordinary people, through the prism of extremely difficult dilemmas and choices. Their consequences can still be felt by many people.
