For a long time, in the gardens of the former Presidential Palace in Rio de Janeiro, older people have been meeting at dusk to sing love songs, accompanied by instruments. They perform them solo, in duets or as a group. The director filmed their performances and everyday life filled with passion and the need of closeness. The film, intended as a return to his homeland after many years, turned out to be his symbolic farewell. The beautiful world we can see in the screen will soon be gone, as the coronavirus pandemic breaks out.
