Menagerie

USA2022animated4'Międzynarodowy konkurs filmów krótkometrażowych (2022)

An alarm clock goes off. You get up, open the window, feed the hamster, water the plant, go to work and so on and so forth. Your neighbours, their neighbours and the entire city do the same. In a playful way, Menagerie shows that our lives consist of the same actions repeated over and over again. The colourful town created by Jack Gray is inhabited by hundreds of peculiar characters who constantly perform both simple everyday activities and the most absurd ones. The animation is reminiscent of Zbigniew Rybczyński's Tango but it is set in the world of the Simpsons.
