His feature film “Touching the Void “(2003) is a winner of the BAFTA award for outstanding British film. His feature films include “The Last King of Scotland”, “State of Play and How I Live Now”. His documentary “Life in a Day”, made in collaboration with Ridley Scott, has won an audience award at the 51st Krakow Film Festival.
