Eva has very clear goals: she wants to find a job, have friends and a partner and visit her ailing mother more often. First and foremost, she wants to meet her son after many years of separation. Because of her illness and drug addiction, she lost custody of her child. ‘The first woman’ is a poignant film about hope and reconciliation. We witness the success of a woman, full of enthusiasm and hope, who leaves the hospital and tries to face her past after many years of struggling with her illness and addiction.
