However, he has to face the regulations in force in Norway and, first and foremost, save the animals from mass euthanasia. Showing his struggle against the system, the film tells a story of the loneliness of the protagonist, for whom furry pets are the only friends. It poses ecological and ethical questions – about man’s relationship with nature today and the limits of individual freedom.
