Before completing the application form, take a moment to consider which department best suits you:
RECEPTION – This is where all festival guests arrive. Reception serves as the central hub of the entire event.
PRODUCTION – This department is responsible for the practical delivery of the festival, including renting specialist equipment, constructing open-air cinemas, and organising all accompanying events, and logistics.
PRESS OFFICE – The source of all festival information flowing out into the world. This is where journalists come looking to contact filmmakers or find press materials.
PHOTOGRAPHY – This team supports the press office and works in close collaboration with our festival photographers.
AUDIENCE SERVICES – The front line, as it were. This team helps audiences navigate the festival programme, provides technical support for online viewers, and assists with ticket purchases and pass redemptions.
MARKETING – This department oversees the festival’s promotional campaign – i.e. how the Festival is perceived outside. The team works with partners, sponsors, and media patrons, fulfils sponsorship obligations, produces informational materials, develops the festival’s visual identity, and creates festival merchandise.
GUEST RELATIONS – Here you will find the logistics maestros. They respond to guests’ needs, help arrange travel, book hotel accommodation, accompany selected guests, and suggest local attractions such as tours and excursions.
CINEMA OPERATIONS – These volunteers are everywhere at once. They look after the screening rooms, oversee projections – including those with accessibility provisions for disabled audience members – manage audience entry into auditoriums, offer help and guidance to cinemagoers, and on occasion step up as cinema managers, a role for which we are also actively recruiting.
KFF INDUSTRY – THE programme of professional events exclusively for filmmakers – both international and Polish industry guests. This is where pitching sessions, panels, presentations, and workshops take place – everything filmmakers undertake during the production and promotion stages of their work.
And if you’d rather experience the festival as a member of the audience, we encourage you to purchase a festival pass.
