They opened the music of the 20th century to a new, “cosmic” dimension. Their electronic suites excellently capture the spirit of the age of space travel and the science-fiction cinema of the time. They have been on stage for almost half a century, although their charismatic leader, Edgar Froese, died in 2015. The story of the legendary German band Tangerine Dream follows the trans rhythm of their pieces.
