For the past 20 years, the lead singer of such Danish bands as Spids Nøgenhat, Baby Woodrose and Dragontears was the embodiment of the formula ”sex, drugs and rock&roll”. On closer acquaintance, Lorenzo Woodrose turns out to be a sensitive artist who tries to find a place for himself in this changing world. The viewers may follow closely his ups and downs as well as the dilemmas of an artist who would like to reconcile musical individualism with popularity.

He studied Film at the University of Copenhagen. He has been involved with music since his youth writing reviews and working for the radio and television. His short documentary Men&Metal was screened at CPH:DOX festival in 2014. He makes video clips and for 15 years has been a musician of the underground scene in Copenhagen. Born to Lose is his feature-length debut.
