Ola, who is a teenager, is responsible for the entire family. Since her mother left them, the girl has had to support her shiftless father, help him in house chores and take care of her younger brother, who has a mental disability. The boy will have his first communion and his elder sister is helping him to prepare for it. The girl sees the event as an opportunity for her dream to come true. Ola wants her mother to return and her parents to reunite. But the teenager’s noble intentions encounter resistance and lack of understanding from adults.
