An Internet GIF is depressed because it does the same thing over and over again and feels that everyone is watching it all the time. This simple animation with the protagonists who are geometric figures and a soundtrack similar to the sounds of the first computer games is a sentimental journey back to the 1990s. The film becomes a diagnosis of the society that grew up in that decade. It shows how professional burnout and exhaustion may lead to far more serious problems.

His film debut "The Making of Longbird" (2011) received almost 30 awards at international film festivals, was recognised by the British Film Academy and won the title of the best short animation of the year. Will Anderson continues making films, among them award-winning "Monkey Love Experiments" (2014) which he co-directed. He often works as a freelance filmmaker, focusing on film and television animation.
