Andrea is a Bafta-nominated filmmaker from Northern Ireland. She is currently directing COMING HOME for BBC with Christopher Ecclestone and recently directed three episodes of brand new BBC3 drama-thriller Clique, starring Aisling Franciosi (The Fall) and Louise Brealey (Sherlock). Her most recent short film The Party was nominated for a Bafta for Best British Short 2017 and has screened at festivals internationally, also winning the nomination for the European Film Award at the Cork Film Festival amongst other festival prizes. After making her first short film The Flyer, for which she was nominated for a Bafta Scotland new talent award, Andrea studied Directing at the NFTS and graduated in 2011 with a portfolio of short films. She was selected for Channel 4’s Coming Up scheme, gaining her first broadcast credit with the single drama Sammy's War (2013), and went on to direct two episodes of BBC Northern Ireland's drama 6 Degrees (2014). She was selected for Northern Ireland Screen’s Emerging Auteurs scheme to support the development of her first feature film The Rain Days, and she took part in the EIFF talent lab in 2016 to further develop this project.
