Love He Said

This documentary animation presents Charles Bukowsky, a poet, at the moment of his emotional weakness. Takes from the archival video from his meeting with readers in San Francisco, drawn frame by frame, are intertwined with the illustration of a poem that he himself is reciting. Bukowsky’s words acquire a new meaning thanks to the visual interpretation offered by the director’s imagination. Instead of a poet provocateur, we can see a man longing for love.
