The film captures the everyday life of medicine students on a summer internship camp. Everything happens fast, each case is a novelty and some situations are even surprising for the young practitioners of medicine. „The Briefing” is a concise film reflecting the fast rhythm of physicians’ work. The filmmakers do not forget about patients, but focus on the perspective of a rookie doctor who does not even have too much time to reflect on death on a hospital bed as other patients are waiting for him.

Director and editor born in 1985 in Lublin. He earned a degree in Film Editing form the Directing Department of the Film School in Łódź. He is a member of the Polish Association of Editors. He edited Rafał Skalski’s documentary "Monk of the Sea" (2016) which had its premiere at the Locarno International Film Festival. "The Briefing" is his directorial debut.
