Today, Licu lives alone in a house full of photographs and items that trigger memories about his beloved wife, holidays with friends, diseases and deaths, all in the shadow of the war and the totalitarian communist regime. A story about love, old age, passing and, above all, the profound impact that a county’s history may have on the lives of ordinary people.
