Erik is on the road. He is walking from Rosengård in Sweden to Camino de Finisterre in Spain. His pilgrimage has a very symbolic dimension. The boy is carrying a baggage of difficult experiences that he might be able to shed soon and start a new life with his beloved Martyna. His path is not usual as he was born as a girl and it took him several years to understand his identity and find a place in the community of a small, religious town. He is not alone on his walk, as his relatives and the camera accompany him.

Film director. She was born in 1972 in Sweden. She graduate in directing and documentary at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. She holds a master in Film Directing from Valand Academy in Göteborg. She has made several international reconized documentaries. Her movie “I Am My Own Dolly Parton” has won critical acclaim and the award-winning “MonaLisa Story” was nominated to the Guldbaggen award for the best documentary film in 2017.
