Paco Mora, a distinguished flamenco dancer and choreographer, is also known for his performance in Carlos Saura’s Salomé. He gave up his career to take care of his mother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s. Since 2016 he has been involved in a therapeutic project which would enable his mother to fulfil her dream of dancing. However, what is happening in the intimate space of their shared flat is more than just a meeting of life and art. We can observe closeness and everyday care that undermine stereotypes about a man’s role in a family.

Born in 1988 in Fuerteventura, Spain, Pedro Morato studied Audiovisual Communication with a specialisation in Film at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca before pursuing a Master's degree in Videography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Liege, Belgium. He started as a freelance photographer and videographer and worked on the production and script of the short film Los Paralelos in 2013. In 2021, he directed his first feature documentary "En mis zapatos".
