The third and final part of the series ‘Impossible Figures and Other Stories’ shows the protagonist walking through a deserted city. Almost identical office buildings, monumental monuments and endlessly empty streets create a maze of figures and geometric shapes. Everything seems to be rhythmical and well-ordered, yet the shops are empty, the traffic lights squeak in the background, and there is only rubbish left on the platform, which is being blown by the wind. The city engulfs us, frightens and disturbs us, and only the wrinkles on the faces of the characters remind us that life once flourished here. A hypnotic vision of the apocalypse.
